Welcome to Trac. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service.

1. Eligibility and Account Creation

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have parental/guardian consent, to create an account on Trac
• Parents/guardians are responsible for accounts created for children under 16
• Team managers are responsible for authorizing team access for coaches, parents, and players
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials

2. Permitted Use of Trac

Trac is designed for legitimate grassroots football activities. You may use Trac to:

• Manage team information, player data, and coaching staff details
• Record and track training sessions, attendance, and performance
• Create and manage match fixtures, lineups, and formations
• Log match events, results, and reports
• Send availability requests to players and parents
• Generate performance statistics and analytics
• Communicate with team members through app features

3. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Trac to:

• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Harass, intimidate, or abuse other users
• Share account credentials or impersonate other users
• Attempt to hack, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the system
• Use the app for commercial purposes without authorization
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with the app's operation or other users' experience
• Extract or scrape data for unauthorized purposes

4. Team Data and Content Ownership

• Team data entered into Trac (match reports, player statistics, training records) remains owned by the team
• You grant Trac a license to store, process, and display your data within the app
• Team managers have primary responsibility for data accuracy and team member authorization
• We are not responsible for disputes over team data or unauthorized access granted by team managers
• You are responsible for ensuring any data you input complies with applicable privacy laws

5. Account Management and Access

• Team access is managed through authorization by team managers or coaches
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms
• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
• Inactive accounts may be archived or removed after extended periods of non-use
• Account termination does not automatically remove historical team data

6. Payments and Subscriptions

If Trac offers paid features or subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe)
• Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law
• You may cancel your subscription at any time, with access continuing until the end of the billing period
• Price changes will be communicated in advance with reasonable notice
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws

7. Service Availability and Limitations

• Trac is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure service
• Scheduled maintenance may temporarily limit access to the app
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• External integrations (WhatsApp, analytics) may have their own limitations

8. Liability and Disclaimers

• We are not responsible for loss of data, missed matches, or communication failures
• Users are responsible for backing up important data and maintaining alternative communication methods
• Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service (if any) in the 12 months prior to the issue
• We exclude liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses
• These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

9. Parental Consent for Under-18 Players

• Parental consent is required for all players under 18 years of age
• Consent covers participation in match reports, player statistics, and public team features
• Parents can withdraw consent at any time through the app or by contacting team administrators
• Players without valid consent will be excluded from public match reports and statistics
• All consent decisions are logged with timestamps and audit trails for transparency
• Team administrators can manually update consent status with appropriate documentation

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of Trac is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Trac, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Trac after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

• Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the service will cease
• Certain provisions (liability limitations, governing law) survive termination

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
